Cathedral square Plaza.

The buildings of Havana Cathedral Square in Cuba (PLAZA DE LA CATEDRAl) dating from the 1700s is a beautiful place.

The Cathedral of San Cristobal de La Habana, where curiously rested the remains of Christopher Columbus from 1795-1898, when the remains were transferred to Seville.

The Cathedral was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982. (La Catedral de la Virgen María de la Concepción Inmaculada de La Habana)The original name of the Cathedral is one of eleven Roman Catholic Cathedrals on the island of Cuba.
The  Cathedral is found in the center of Old Havana. The building itself is mainly made up of coral and is considered one of the most beautiful church of Baroque architecture in Cuba. It rely is a historical monument to admire

The house of Lombillo, who was once office and now the Office of the Historian of the City,

The Palacio del Marqués de Arcos or the Palace of Counts of Bayona, In 1825 it became Cuba’s first post office is now Museo de Arte Colonial.where you can find antique furniture, and lot of porcelain and dishes from colonial times.
Also found in the Cathedral Plaza an statue of dancer and choreographer Spanish, Antonio Gades, leaning against one of the columns of the Palace and of couse the peculiar Santera, an old Lady who read hands and predict the future, you can find her dressed in white, with many necklaces and smoking a big cigar.

Every visitor of Havana should consider this architectural wonder. This construction of the eighteenth century and the plaza in which it is located, are a clear example of colonial architecture, a must for lovers of history Please be aware you cannot wear shorts,hats or short skirts inside the main area.
